چکیده

Abstract In this paper, we study $$\varphi $$ φ -minimal surfaces in $$\mathbb {R}^3$$ R 3 when the function is invariant under a two-parametric group of translations. Particularly those which are complete graphs over domains {R}^2$$ 2 . We describe full classification flat-embedded if strictly monotone and characterize rotational by its behavior at infinity has quadratic growth.

Estimation of Lift Force on a Rough Vertical Pile of Platform to Random Sea Waves

Similar to random sea waves, forces on the offshore structures due to waves are random. These forces can be mainly divided into two components, namely, inline forces and transverse or lift forces. The random nature of lift forces is more complicated than that of inline forces and both should be combined for design purposes. In the present paper, two different approaches have been used to determ...

Reactive force field potential for carbon deposition on silicon surfaces.

In this paper a new interatomic potential based on the Kieffer force field and designed to perform molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of carbon deposition on silicon surfaces is implemented. This potential is a third-order reactive force field that includes a dynamic charge transfer and allows for the formation and breaking of bonds. The parameters for Si-C and C-C interactions are optimized u...
